Introduction to The Laboratory of Turbomachinery The Turbomachinery Laboratory at Tsinghua University has been engaged in energy and power research in the fields of aviation, vehicle, marine, etc.. Our research group has more than 30 people of master students, Ph.D. students, who has published more than 180 academic papers, more than 130 SCI papers, and has been granted more than 50 domestic and international patents for invention. The academic achievements have been applied in the engineering fields of aero engines, turbocharging.The main research includes: adaptive variable cycle engine, near space long endurance UAV (hydrogen energy) propulsion system, system, high-speed intelligent drone swarm propulsion system, fuel cell turbocharging, piston engine turbocharging, integrated thermal management of new energy vehicles, integrated thermal management of artificial intelligence big data centers, and integrated thermal management of aircraft propulsion system.The group has won several outstanding awards including National high-level talent, China Youth Science and Technology Award, National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology, Second Prize, National Defense Science and Technology Progress Prize, First Prize, China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award, First Prize, Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Outstanding Contributing Award of Chinese Society for Internal Combustion Engines, ASME IGTI Best Paper Award, SAGE Best Paper Award, Academic Youth Award of Tsinghua University, Excellent Young Teachers Award of Tsinghua University, Fok Ying Tung Education Award, National Best Doctoral Thesis Award.
