Dr. Xiubao Huang, CEO of HI-BAR MC Technology Corporation, Visited Turbomachinery Laboratory of Tsinghua University
On October 26, 2018, Dr. Xiubao Huang, CEO of HI-BAR MC Technology Corporation,USA, visited Turbomachinery Laboratory of Tsinghua University and made an academic report entitled “From Rotating Stall to Surge: A Shock Tube Theory and Experimental Comparison”. The report focused on the method of analogy and detailed the analogy with the shock tube. And Dr. Xiubao Huang communicated and discussed with the teacher and students of the laboratory.

Dr. Xiubao Huang received his bachelor's degree in wind turbines from Xi\'an Jiaotong University in 1982. He was sent to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Northwestern University in 1984 by the State Education Commission of the PRC and he received his Ph.D. in 1989. In the first ten years after graduation, he was engaged in product development and design of multistage centrifugal compressor and Roots blower at Gardner Denver,USA. And later, he founded HI-BAR MC Technology Corporation, which is mainly engaged in technology research and development as well as technology transfer. Current research interests of HI-BAR MC Technology Corporation include:the mechanism and control of flow pulsation; the mechanism and control of compressor surge.
