Z.Z Sun and D.T Zhu were awarded the title of "Tsinghua University Outstanding Graduate"
The doctoral graduate Z.Z Sun and the master graduate D.T Zhu, both of whom were supervised by Professor Zheng, were awarded the title of "Tsinghua University Outstanding Doctoral Graduate" and the title of "Tsinghua University Outstanding Master Graduate", respectively. (Less than 5% of Tsinghua University's graduates can receive this honor each year.) In addition, they both won the "Excellent Doctoral Thesis of Tsinghua University"and the "Excellent Master's Thesis of Tsinghua University". Since 2012 when Professor Zheng's first student graduated from Tsinghua University, he has supervised more than 20 doctoral and master students, and more than ten graduates have won honors such as "Tsinghua University Outstanding Graduate" or "Excellent Thesis of Tsinghua University".

During the Ph.D candidate period, Z.Z Sun published 12 SCI-indexed journal papers and authorized 5 invention patents. Additionally, he awarded the Tsinghua Overall Excellent Scholarship and the Tsinghua-IHI Scholarship (4 times). After graduation, Sun entered the Aero Engine Research Institute of Tsinghua University to carry out post-doctoral research, and was awarded the "Shuimu Tsinghua Scholar Program".
During the Master degree study, D.T Zhu published 5 SCI-indexed journal papers as the lead author and applied 5 invention patent. Besides, Zhu served as the party branch secretary, the undergraduate counselor in 2015, etc., and he awarded National Scholarship, the Tsinghua Overall Excellent Scholarship, the Tsinghua University "One Two Nine" Outstanding Counselor Award and so on. After graduation, he worked at the Southwest Institute of Technical Physics, China North Industries Group.
