Turbochargers, as a type of turbomachinery, play an important role in improving the performance, fuel economy and emission of an internal combustion engine. This course is popular among undergraduate students and positive feedback is always received.Topics of this course include axial and radial compressor aerodynamics, turbine aerodynamics, matching between compressor and turbine, matching between engine and turbocharger, and advanced methods in improving the performance of turbochargers.
