This course gives students a computational approach to study fluid related problems. Computational fluid dynamics enables students to simulate and solve the fluid behavior and visualize the result in various ways. Topics of this course include the N-S equation and suitable form for CFD, discretization and grid generation, basic methods for CFD, using CFD to solve problems such as nozzle flows and P-M expansion wave, and advanced topics in modern CFD.
